At NDEM Expo, we’ve implemented guidelines and requirements based on current CDC Guidelines, local public health guidance, and the input of our venue partners to help support a safe and comfortable experience. We will continue to assess our health and safety policies leading up to the event. Please check this page often for the most up-to-date information.

Please read below for more details on our requirements, frequently asked questions, important public resources and what you can expect at NDEM Expo.


All participants are asked to review and confirm they are able to comply with the Health & Safety Acknowledgement prior to entering NDEM Expo, including ensuring that they are not currently experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who is not feeling well or begins to experience symptoms at any time during NDEM Expo should contact and follow the guidance of their physician. No one is permitted entry to NDEM Expo who is not in full compliance with the health & safety requirements and the Health & Safety Acknowledgement.


NDEM Expo has worked closely with the Javits Center to implement cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the recommendations of the CDC. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain personal hygiene, including washing your hands frequently.


Please adhere to all signage and direction from all staff, including our Safety Ambassadors. We have adjusted our layout and implemented exhibitor recommendations with the wellbeing of our guests in mind. Operational adjustments may occur throughout the event.


Please be aware of and respect the personal boundaries of your fellow participants so that everyone can enjoy their time at NDEM Expo.


Please ensure that you have reviewed any advisories or restrictions that may be in place for travel to the United States and for travel to the city and state of the Event.

Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including the Event. Prior to registering for and attending the Event, please ensure you have read the latest CDC Guidelines for Prevention.

By attending the Event, you acknowledge this inherent risk on behalf of yourself and/or any Minor attending the Event for which you serve as Guardian (collectively, “You”) and, as a condition of entering the Event, You acknowledge, understand and confirm each of the following in accordance with applicable health guidelines:

  • that You will abide by all terms of admission and participation (as may be updated from time to time), all Event health-and-safety requirements as made available on the Event website, all local public health regulations and guidance from the relevant city and/or state which are in effect at the time of entry, and, where applicable, providing proof of compliance with any entry requirements;
  • that You are not currently experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19, as identified at, including, but not limited to:
    • Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  • that prior to attending the Event You have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a CDC recommended quarantine; and
  • that You are not under any self-quarantine or isolation orders or subject to any CDC self-quarantine or isolation protocol.

For purposes of this acknowledgement, a “Minor” means any individual who is under eighteen (18) years of age or has not reached the age of majority as defined by such individual’s jurisdiction of residence, and a “Guardian” means such Minor’s parent or legal guardian or other individual attending the Event who is over the age of eighteen (18) and acting in loco parentis for such Minor. Please see the Event’s terms of participation to confirm the age requirements for entry.

Please do not enter the Event or the Venue if You cannot confirm all of the above criteria. If at any point during Your time at the Event You do not meet all of the above criteria, You will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave the Venue at the sole discretion of Management.

Please note: The guidelines in this document are based on information currently available regarding the behavior and characteristics of the COVID-19 virus, public health information and local or state guidelines with respect to large gatherings. As more clarity with respect to these variables emerges, it is expected that these guidelines may need to be adjusted accordingly.


No, however, please note that face coverings are strongly recommended in accordance with public health guidance. We ask that anyone who is not up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations wear a face covering while attending NDEM Expo.

NDEM Expo show management partners closely with the Javits Center, local, state, and federal health authorities to maintain a robust operational plan designed to maximize the health and safety of everyone. These Include:

  • Strict sanitization and cleaning procedures
  • Hand sanitizing stations
  • Layout design and spaces to promote a safe experience
  • Exhibitor guidelines and booth design standards
  • Reduced contact transactions

Everyone in attendance at NDEM Expo is expected to fully comply with terms of service for participation in  NDEM Expo  including all health and safety requirements. Acknowledging the requirements and agreeing to comply is a condition of entry (See the Health & Safety Acknowledgement). NDEM Expo will have specially designated Safety Ambassadors available to assist with the implementation of our requirements. A health & safety contact phone number will be clearly noted on signage throughout NDEM Expo to allow for reporting of any concerns or issues. 

Show management may remove, ban or revoke the badge without refund of anyone who fails to comply or impacts the safety or security of the Event, each in show management’s sole and absolute discretion.

If you have reason to believe you currently have COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19, you should not attend NDEM Expo and consult your physician, including if these conditions emerge while you are at the show.

Please review our Health & Safety Acknowledgement each day prior to attending NDEM Expo to ensure you can comply with all of the requirements therein.
